Leadership and Elders of Shepherd of the Mountains
Leadership that is God-honoring, faithful to the call of Christ, steadfast in embracing our heritage as well as passionate about the mission of Shepherd of the Mountains is what each of these individuals share with the congregation as well as the Cascade community.

Rev. Dr. Robin J. Dugall, Pastor
Who am I? Well, my name is Robin. I have over 30 years of ministry experience as a pastor, musician, teacher, and student ministry leader. In addition to being Pastor at Shepherd of the Mountains, I am also the Pastor at Our Savior in McCall. I received a Bachelor’s degree at California Lutheran University in Biblical Studies and Music, a Master’s degree in 1980 at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary as well as receiving a Doctorate in Ministry Leadership and Spiritual Formation through the Azusa Pacific University School of Theology the fall of 2008. I am also an Adjunct Professor in Biblical Studies at two Universities in the Western USA. There are a number of things that I am passionate about - worship, biblical study and application, leadership development, student ministry and being part of a "revolution" in actualizing new paradigms of ministry in our culture. I am the author of Worship Experiences (Gospel Light/Regal), a contributing author in the book, The Gospel according to Superheroes (Lang, 2005), I have been a "behind the scenes" editor of some other books, as well as a frequent contributor to blogs and websites for Missional Praxis and Student Ministry. I enjoy music, guitar playing and recording, surfing, reading, hanging with my wife, Vicky and roller hockey. I love sports and our amazingly beautiful recreational community in Valley County. I also have a voracious appetite to learn and grow as a Christ-follower. I have three children, four "in-laws", and seven grandchildren. Professionally, I teach/speak at seminars and conferences on a variety of topics, am a teacher/trainer of lay leaders across the country through the Mission Training Center of Concordia University, have been involved in the "missional" movement in the Northwest District of the LC-MS.
